Sharing Space and Hearts:  Yoga at Latitude
yoga sanskrit root: "yuj" to yoke; harness; unite

Most of my yoga teaching takes place in studios, fitness centers, and in corporate settings.  Additonally, and for the last 10 years, I've enjoyed the very real pleasure of working with the founders and artists of the Latitude Artist Community in downtown Lexington.  Latitude is an inspired organization based on passionate concepts about movement, perspective, and autonomy -- important ideas if you happen to have a disability, or know someone who does.

Over these years we've shared more than time together. We are advocates, activists, artists, and mentors;  we've brainstormed, struggled,  created, evolved -- and  we've grown up together with a shared vision of bringing the best of our creative energy to the community we serve.

Founders Bruce Burris and Crystal Bader embraced and supported my proposal to bring yoga to Latitude artists. Our association continues to deepen as the doors of the studio are now opening even wider to serve members of the broader community.

GrassRootsYoga is for everyone, and we invite you to be a part of a new experience. To learn more about Latitude events and programs  visit www.Latitudeart.blogspot.com
